Water Supply Planning Branch

The Water Supply Planning Branch is responsible for Local Water Supply Plans, the State Water Supply Plan, the Registration of Water Withdrawals and Transfers, and providing technical assistance to public water supply system operators and their consultants. Services include analysis of existing water supply systems, recommendations on new sources of water supply, coordination of regional cooperation between local water supply systems, and evaluation of future water demands. The Branch provides information on sources of financial assistance, on Water Conservation techniques, and on methods of detecting wasteful water leaks.
