NORTH CAROLINA GROUND WATER PUBLICATIONS (132 listed)

The library of ground water reports includes DWR reports, reconnaissance studies from the 1940s to early 1970s, and a few miscellaneous reports. Most of the reconnaissance studies include a description of the geology, an inventory of wells, and a summary of the occurrences of ground water.

If a publication is not available through a link to a pdf file on this page, certain reports may be borrowed through interlibrary loan at any university or public library from the State Library of North Carolina at 919-807-7450. USGS reports may be available from the US Geological Survey, Raleigh Office at 919-571-4000 or through their publications web page.

You may click on a county on the map to filter reports, or sort the list below using the headings, or select a report below to highlight the counties covered in report on the map, or search the title, author, number, and association fields.

You may add publications to our library or fix an ommission or error by contacting Nat Wilson (email or 919-715-5445).
