Division of Water Resources -- Interbasin Transfer -- Cities of Concord and Kannapolis Proposed Interbasin Transfer - Environmental Impact Statement

The Cities of Concord and Kannapolis have an interbasin transfer certificate to transfer to the Rocky River basin a maximum of 10 million gallons per day (mgd) from the Catawba River basin and a maximum of 10 mgd from the Yadkin River basin.

  • Status -- The Concord and Kannapolis IBT Certificate was approved with specified revisions at the EMC's January 10, 2007 meeting. The certificate was subsequently revised and signed into effect on January 25, 2007.-- (Certificate [887kB])
