The City of Wilmington and New Hanover County's request will be an increase in their current transfer from the Cape Fear River basin to the Northeast Cape River Basin. This will increase their Northside WWTP capacity from 8 mgd to 16 mgd. The staff is currently waiting on documentation to determine the grandfathered capacity. Once the documentation is reviewed then DWR will be able to determine whether and Interbasin Transfer Certificate if required.
