Method Statements

Definition

Method statements are schematic representations and explanations of critical items that are needed for developing the model, or for preparing the data sets that will be used to feed the model.   The quality of the end product depends on the quality and integrity of the underlying data and on the procedures that the model uses to manipulate this data.

One of the primary purposes of the this collaborative study is to develop a consensus around the best way to analyze the basin's hydrology using the model to answer the important questions about water withdrawals, interbasin transfers and drought management.

The purpose of this section is to provide a mechanism for all interested parties to review what is proposed to be done and to offer comments or questions about the procedures.  Questions or comments should be entered at the Discussion page.
