The Marshall Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) System evaporates water. Outfall 002 is the retired ash basin. Outfall 003 is chiller cooling water that runs continuously. Outfalls 002a and 002b are sump overflows that rarely discharge. Outfall 005 is the retention basin wastewater discharge. Discharges from 002 and 005 include precipitation. All discharges are to Lake Norman.
