This facility pumps accumulated rainwater, storm water runoff and groundwater from the pit sump. The discharge from this pit is covered under NPDES General Storm Water Permit (Series NCG020000) issued by NCDWQ. The water volumes reported on this form are our best estimate for each category with the available data. The groundwater volumes reported for this quarry are estimated to be 10% of the water collected in the pit sump. The other 90% of this water is accumulated storm water
