Beginning January 1, 2021, Water Withdrawl & Transfer Registration (WWATR) users submitting data using the Water Use Data Collection (WUDC) application will need an NCID to log in. This is a one-time registration that can be used across applications spanning multiple state departments, divisions, and agencies. More information can be found on the NCID FAQ page.

You can verify or make changes to your NCID account - including a reset of your password - by visiting the NCID login page.

If you do not already have an NCID, you may register for one in less than 5 minutes by visiting the NCID registration page.
For a detailed guide with screenshots, you can download and print this PDF.

Once you have an NCID, you may submit a request to tie your NCID to a particular WWATR on this page.
Selection of an owner is subject to approval prior to data entry.

You should receive a postcard in early January with additional information.
If you do not receive this postcard by February 1, 2024 or have additional questions, please contact John Barr at 919-707-9021.
